Driving Directions to Los Alamos:

 

It is recomended that you fly commercially into the Albuquerque of Santa Fe Airports, public transportation to Los Alamos is not readily available, renting a car is the easiest way to get here. If you do not wish to keep your car for the entire week, Budget Rent A Car is the only rental company located in Los Alamos.

 

Driving from Albuquerque:

Please allow 1.5-2 hours to reach Los Alamos

 

Exit to Interstate 25 North

Drive 54 miles and take Exit 276B (Hwy 599)

Drive 14 miles and take the Los Alamos/Espanola Exit on to US-285 North

After about 12 miles you reach Pojoaque, take the Los Alamos Exit and turn left

You will continue up several hills until you reach Los Alamos townsite

 

Driving from Santa Fe:

Allow 45 minutes to reach Los Alamos

 

After leaving the airport turn left on Hwy 599

Take the Los Alamos/Espanola Exit on to US-285 North

After about 12 miles you reach Pojoaque, take the Los Alamos Exit and turn left

You will continue up several hills until you reach Los Alamos townsite
