
The National Flow Cytometry Resource (NFCR), located in the Bioscience Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory, is funded by the National Center for Research Resources through the National Institutes of Health. The NFCR pursues the development of advanced flow cytometry instrumentation and applications, and transfers these developments to the biomedical science community.

Flow Cytometry Courses
The 32nd Annual Course in Flow Cytometry was held May 30 - June 5, 2009 at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. This course is sponsored by the National Flow Cytometry Resource and Verity Software House and hosted by the Center for Biomedical Engineering. We enjoyed having so many excited participants!

The 20th Annual Clinical Course in Flow Cytometry was held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison August 10-15, 2008.
The 31st Annual Course in Flow Cytometry, Research Methods and Applications was held June 14-20, 2008 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. This course was hosted by Verity Software House and co-sponsored by the National Flow Cytometry Resource.
The 30th Annual Course in Flow Cytometry, Research Methods and Applications was held June 9-15, 2007 at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Hosted by the National Flow Cytometry Resource (nfcr@lanl.gov) and Verity Software House. We had an intense week of flow cytometry and fun.

The activities of the NFCR include:
- Technological research and development focused on the development of new instrumentation and applications to address important problems in biomedical science
- Pursuing active collaborations with both basic science and clinical researchers
- Providing researchers with access to state-of-art flow cytometry instrumentation for kinetics, spectroscopy, and molecular analysis
- Training, service, and dissemination to the biomedical research community through courses, tutorials, workshops, and consulting
